The process of making art keeps me on an honest journey.  I find a personal satisfaction in exploring the authenticity that comes from my own ideas and thoughts. Because of my training, I often find comfort in figurative work but, my inner aesthetic preference is towards textures and minimalism.  I find a sensual satisfaction in mysterious forms, unseen layers and engaging patinas.
 
I am drawn to the mystery, ambiguity and contrast. Exploring the differences between chaos and structure uncovers the hidden relationships, patterns and symmetry that ties the two together keeps me on an unending journey of discovery.
