Venice has beautifully colored light and I am inspired by the sounds and smells of the early morning activity. Working outside my studio in the streets is a very different experience which I enjoy in doses. Especially in a place like Venice where the streets are so filled with tourists I need to be fully ready to capture a moment quickly and find as much solitude as possible before the crowds descend upon the city.
